Level I & II: Characters & Stories

Students will learn about the basics of scene work, pun games, character creation, and how to use big emotions. Students should graduate Level 2 with a solid understanding of how to start successful scenes and tools they can use to “save” a scene. Students should also be able to create a character based on limited information, limited time and/or endowments that fellow improvisers (or the audience!) give to them. Each class should be dedicated to 45 mins of instruction, warm up and exercises that emphasize the concept of the week.
